Building Hours

West Hall

The following lists the hours when the Engineering West Hall building is open for students, faculty, staff and authorized visitors during the Fall and Spring Semesters.

These hours are effective from January 2024.

Monday 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. (guard on duty from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.)
Tuesday 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. (guard on duty from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.)
Wednesday 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. (guard on duty from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.)
Thursday 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. (guard on duty from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.)
Friday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. (no guard)
Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (guard on duty)
Sunday Noon - 5 p.m. (guard on duty)

Mondays through Fridays, the Main Street doors lock at 8 p.m. - use Pine Street doors after 8 p.m. Use Pine Street doors on Sunday since the Main Street doors stay locked.

East Hall

The following lists the hours when the Engineering East Hall building is open for students, faculty, staff and authorized visitors during the Fall and Spring Semesters.

Monday 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Tuesday 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Wednesday 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Thursday 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Friday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The entrance at Main and Belvidere locks at 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 p.m. on Friday. Use the "Crescent" Entrance on Main Street after hours and weekends.

Engineering Research Building (ERB)

The following lists the hours when the Engineering Research Building (ERB) is open for students, faculty, staff and authorized visitors during the Fall and Spring Semesters. The hours below apply to the Cary/Belvidere and Courtyard entrances.

Monday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Tuesday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday Closed
Sunday Closed

The buildings are always closed on University holidays, unless otherwise posted.

During the Summer and when classes are NOT in session, West Hall and East Hall are only open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
