The 2025 Virginia Talent Biotech Virtual Career Fair on October 22 is an opportunity for your organization to connect, recruit, and network with young talent from colleges and universities all across Virginia with interests and desired career paths in biotech. You'll see students from these programs and more: 

• Biomedical Engineering
• Chemical & Life Science Engineering
• Electrical & Computer Engineering
• Mechanical & Nuclear Engineering
• Industrial Engineering

Students from the following colleges and universities will be participating: 

• Virginia Commonwealth University
• Virginia Tech
• Old Dominion University
• Virginia Military Institute 
• Virginia State University
• Virginia Wesleyan University
• Shenandoah University

This collaborative fair will be held virtually on our career management platform, Handshake. Not only does this provide a more intimate setting for you to meet with students, but you also have complete control over your schedule. Here's how it works:

• Create your own recruiting schedule. Schedule as many 1:1 sessions for student conversations as you’d like, or add in group sessions which can act as info sessions or question & answer sessions. Connect by video or phone.
• Want more than 1 recruiter in the 1:1 video call? That can work, but you must use Zoom or an alternate video platform when you set up your appointments (don't use the Handshake provided video tool).
• Instantly download student resumes. As soon as a student requests an appointment with your company their resume is immediately accessible to you.
• Stay in contact after the fair. Unlimited student messaging is available through the Handshake app for any students you meet with during the virtual fair.
