Computer Science Day

What is it?

Computer Science Day @ VCU is an event aimed at exposing high school students to the dynamic range of opportunities Computer Science has to offer! Come learn about cutting edge research with exciting talks by faculty members and graduate students from the VCU Department of Computer Science. Join us in the afternoon for a round of discussions with representatives from companies in industry, who will give you a leg up on what types of jobs are available for CS majors, and how to best prepare for them. End the day with information about research opportunities for high school students at VCU, as well as an introduction to the world of hackathons, with background on VCU's very own RamHacks event, a 24-hour programming marathon for innovative undergraduate developers!
