FBI Cybersecurity Regional Collegiate Academy

FBI Richmond will be hosting a Cyber Collegiate Academy this fall for area universities. The goal of the program is to spread awareness of the Bureau’s mission, while allowing students the unique opportunity to learn from FBI cyber professionals. Topics covered will include:

  • An overview of FBI cyber careers
  • Pig butchering
  • Cryptocurrency
  • Cellular analysis
  • And more!

Join us as we share how we dismantled an international hacking group and how we used technology to identify a serial bank robber.

The program will last for four weeks (October 4-25, 2023) and will meet on Wednesday nights from 6–8 p.m. in Snead Hall, room B1127.

Students who attend all sessions will receive an FBI Cybersecurity Collegiate Academy Certificate. This event is hosted by the VCU Cybersecurity Center and is lead by Milos Manic, Ph.D.
