The National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship (GRF) seeks to broaden participation in science, engineering, and relevant social sciences of underrepresented groups, including women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and veterans.
Fellowships provide the student with a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 along with a $12,000 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees (paid to the institution). Seniors, recent graduates, and first-year graduate students are encouraged to apply.
