Capstone Design made history in 2020 with its first-ever virtual awards ceremony held May 8. The year’s six winning teams — one per department, plus a multidisciplinary team — vied for first- and second-place Dean’s Choice awards by presenting their projects via Zoom to an audience of more than 140.

The department winners were previously selected by panels of faculty, alumni and industry experts.

The final Dean’s Choice award-winners were selected by the college’s senior leadership team.
