Six new faculty members have joined the VCU College of Engineering faculty to date in 2019. These researchers bring expertise in medical robotics, software engineering, thermal hydraulics and chemical engineering for food packaging.

A number of VCU Engineering’s current faculty members have also received academic promotions.

“VCU Engineering is off to a fantastic start! Not only have six new faculty joined the VCU Engineering family, but we had a banner year in terms of faculty promotions. I can’t wait to see what news week two will bring,” said Barbara D. Boyan, Ph.D., the Alice T. and William H. Goodwin Dean of the VCU College of Engineering and professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
