Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. Student Presents at Conference

Patrick Link

Patrick Link, a doctoral student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, recently presented his research at the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society Americas (TERMIS-AM) annual conference and exhibition.

Link is a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow in the laboratory of Rebecca Heise, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. He was awarded a grant to attend the meeting Dec. 3-6, 2017, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and present his poster titled “Protein Nanoparticles Derived from Porcine Lung Shift Macrophages to Pro-Regenerative Phenotype.”
