Rebecca Walker, a doctoral student in the Department of Chemical and Life Science Engineering, has been selected for a NASA Fellowship Activity award.
The NASA Fellowship Activity provides support to students pursuing graduate degrees in STEM while working on research projects. Walker’s adviser is James Ferri, Ph.D. She will also work with a NASA technical adviser.
“Working with NASA experts through my graduate studies will open doors that will allow me to achieve my goal of advancing knowledge in science and technology,” she said. “I am thankful for this opportunity to work with NASA and am excited to expand my knowledge of spaceflight applications.”
