Standardized Test Requirement  –  A standardized test score is required for all (domestic and international) College of Engineering applicants.  The SAT or ACT is required of all undergraduate applicants and a GRE is required for all graduate applicants.

Credential Evaluation –  Prospective students who have studied outside of the U.S. must provide an external credential evaluation as part of the admissions process. This report should be sealed and unopened, and sent directly to international admissions.  A list of accredited credential evaluation companies can be found here:  www.naces.org/members. If a candidate’s application packet is missing the transcript credential evaluation, they are notified via email to submit unofficial copies of the same by email to expedite the application review process.

All supplemental application materials should be uploaded to the application portal in Slate. Additionally, please note that only VCU’s Office of Undergraduate AdmissionsGraduate Admissions, and International Admissions are authorized to notify applicants of the official acceptance by the university. Do not interpret statements made in casual correspondence with any university faculty member to mean that you have been fully accepted.
