General Responsibilities: Lead the growing research in nano, bio, photonics, environmental, materials and systems research in the College of Engineering and university wide in a 5,000 square foot, research-focused Virginia Microelectronics Center (VMC) clean room facility. Oversee day-to-day research activities in the VMC and this includes opportunities to pursue their own research projects. Responsibilities in the day-to-day operation include oversight of equipment maintenance and operations including, but not limited to, routine maintenance of and minor repairs to research infrastructure, as well as working with external vendors VCU staff for major research equipment acquisition.

General Responsibilities: Providing technical assistance and equipment training to VMC users, managing and troubleshooting resources, and promoting compliance with health and safety standards at the VMC. Besides my role also includes amending current processes if needed, developing and implementing new processes for achieving project goals with high efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

General Responsibilities: Supporting Jr. Process Engineer with maintaining cleanliness, conducting weekly particle counts to monitor and maintain cleanroom standards, maintaining common recipe records for reference, working with researchers to improve recipes.

General Responsibilities: Supporting the Jr. Process Engineer in improving lab operations, maintaining and managing the storage of hazardous chemicals, executing proper hazardous waste collection and disposal, and documentation and maintenance of inventory at the VMC.

General Responsibilities: Providing support to achieve project goals, ensuring cleanroom facility best practices to ensure continuous operation of the VMC, monitoring equipment and tool accountability and serviceability, assisting with the development of standard operating procedures, maintaining and improving cleanroom particle counts, assistance to analyze and troubleshoot process problems, assistance to repair systems in conjunction with tool PIs and VMC staff/leadership
