Engineering Career Services Partner Program
The Partner Program is an annual program administered throughout the academic year and includes various levels of participation to best fit your organization’s goals. The Engineering Employer Partner Program is designed to help employers build their brand on-campus, market to current and future open positions, and drive hiring success.

Levels of Participation
The Partner Program is an annual program administered throughout the academic year and includes various levels of participation to best fit your organization’s goals.

- Everything at the previous levels plus:
- Meeting Coordination including:
- On-campus meeting space and complimentary parking
- Dedicated ECS events staff to moderate virtual meetings and assist with technology and logistics
- Resume book of target students

- Everything at the previous levels plus:
- Two Custom Recruitment Days per year including:
- Sponsorship of the weekly College of Engineering Coffee Hour or Cookie Break with the opportunity to meet a wide variety of VCU engineers and faculty members
- The opportunity to introduce yourself to the ENGR 395: Professional Development course
- If applicable, a Tech Talk with the computer science student organization, RamDev
- Dedicated Engineering Career Services recruitment consultant and event management
- Assistance with drafting compelling position descriptions including a close review of their Handshake ad to suggest ways to improve the ad. (like too many documents requested, or wrong years for graduation put in, or don’t limit by GPA, etc.)
- Collaboration to identify students who meet employer’s target recruitment criteria
- Assistance with developing targeted direct messaging campaigns to target student population
- Resumes of students who meet target recruitment criteria
- Keynote speaker for one Engineering LIFE Lecture Series event (Learning about Industry from Experts)
- Named sponsor of the VCU College of Engineering Mock Interview Program with the opportunity for employer representatives to serve as mock interviewers
- An exclusive networking mixer for your organization (and your organization only) and College of Engineering student organizations

- Everything at the $1,500 level plus:
- One Custom Recruitment Day a year including:
- Sponsorship of the weekly College of Engineering Coffee Hour or Cookie Break with the opportunity to meet a wide variety of VCU engineers and faculty members
- The opportunity to fully participate and share real world insight with the students enrolled in the ENGR 395: Professional Development course
- If applicable, a Tech Talk with the computer science student organization, RamDev

- Custom recruitment plan and branding plan
- Dedicated Engineering Career Services recruitment consultant and event management
- Collaboration to identify students who meet employer’s target recruitment criteria
- Assistance with developing targeted direct messaging campaigns to target student population
- Engineering Career Fairs
- One table at the fall and spring Engineering Career Fairs with sponsorship recognition
- Recognition on Career Fair app used by all students
- One Custom Recruitment Day per year including:
- Sponsorship of the weekly College of Engineering Coffee Hour or Cookie Break with the opportunity to meet a wide variety of VCU engineers and faculty members
- The opportunity to introduce yourself to the ENGR 395: Professional Development course

- Targeted emails to students to help drive application numbers
- Positions included in Jobs Newsletter and highlighted on the Engineering Career Services website
- Targeted emails from career advisors to students to promote open positions on an as-needed basis.
- Recognition as a sponsor in all student emails
- Assistance with scheduling on-campus or virtual interviews
- Meeting Coordination
- Dedicated ECS events staff to moderate virtual meetings and assist with technology and logistics for all student engagements
- Invitation to two exclusive networking events with the members of engineering student organizations and other Partner employers
- Recognition and Branding
- Partner companies highlighted on ECS student-facing landing pages on Career Services website
- Slide displays in all Engineering buildings
- Recognition in all ECS staff signature blocks
- COE alumni/interns/co-op students highlighted in special features throughout the year
- Logos prominently displayed in every student-facing email sent by Engineering Career Services
