The VCU College of Engineering Capstone Design Expo is the largest student event of the year and will be held in person, once again, at the Stuart C. Siegel Center. This event showcases more than 90 student projects and presentations, the result of more than eight months of work between students, sponsors and faculty advisers. The prototypes and inventions on display seek to offer solutions that will have a lasting impact on society and humankind. Awards will be presented for best project per department, the best industrial project and the Dean's Choice Award. Attendees will get to vote on the People’s Choice Award.

In addition to Capstone Design course work, the expo will feature projects from the Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) teams. The VIP program provides undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in multiyear, multidisciplinary, team-based projects under the guidance of faculty and graduate students in their areas of expertise.

All VCU students, faculty and staff and the Richmond community at large are encouraged to attend. This event is free and open to the public.
