IEEE and Eta Kappa Nu

Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) is the national honor society of IEEE. With about 100,000 members and more than a century of tradition and history, HKN recognizes academic achievement and distinguished personal accomplishment among electrical and computer engineers.

The VCU chapter of HKN, known as Kappa Chi, was installed in May of 2005. For more information on IEEE and HKN, visit the VCU IEEE chapter website.
