Tour Carter Design Build Facility in RVA
Join Carter Machinery on February 28, 2025, in Mechanicsville for an exciting tour of their Engineering Services department including their Design Build environment!
Did you know Carter Machinery is the #1 electric power dealer in the world? That’s right - in the world! Carter Machinery is the authorized Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic region, and while they may be known for their dozers, excavators, and loaders, they’re more than earthmoving equipment. From data centers to microgrids to emergency power, their generator sets, battery energy storage systems, mobile equipment chargers, and other power systems products power the world.
Students will have the opportunity to see real-world applications of electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering concepts, participate in discussions with engineering leaders, and learn more about exciting career opportunities, such as Systems Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, and Control Systems Engineer.
