Electronic Resources

  • myVCU provides a suite of online tools for students and staff designed to help them coordinate academic and non-academic resources in one place.
  • Canvas allows students to view relevant course documents and assignments as well as track their progress and view course announcements.
  • The Undergraduate Bulletin contains academic procedures and policies, as well as information regarding undergraduate programs and the requirements for completion.
  • The Student Financial Management Center (SFMC) serves as the central hub for billing and aid inquiries.

Health, Wellness & Self-Care

  • Student Health Services provides a wide scope of services ranging from free flu vaccines, providing prescriptions at lower prices (including accepting transfers for existing prescriptions), STI/STD screenings, general physicals, and even nutritional consultations.
  • University Counseling Services provides comprehensive evaluation and consultation for students on best options for their mental health care.
  • TimelyCare is a free 24/7 virtual mental health platform for students to access crisis support and scheduled therapy.
  • The Wellness Resource Center (a.k.a “The Well”) provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students to foster a healthy campus environment.
  • Cary St. Gym offers an open environment for all students to improve physical health. As a student you have access to the entire facility, can work towards certifications (e.g. CPR, trainer, etc.) and rent equipment as well.
