Minors

Students interested in pursuing a minor in computer science should submit a Change of Minor Form on the Office of the University Registrar website.

Minor in Computer Science (non-CS Majors only)

Once admitted, students must complete the courses as described on the VCU Bulletins website. Note that EGRE 245 may be substituted for CMSC 255 and EGRE 347 may be substituted for CMSC 256.

Minor in Software Engineering (non-CS Majors only)

Once admitted, students must complete the courses as described on the VCU Bulletins website. Note that EGRE 245 may be substituted for CMSC 255 and EGRE 347 may be substituted for CMSC 256.

Minor in Cybersecurity (non-CS Majors only)

Once admitted, students must complete the courses as described on the VCU Bulletins website. Note that EGRE 347 may be substituted for CMSC 256.

Minor in Data Science

Once admitted, students must complete the courses as described on the VCU Bulletins website. Note that EGRE 347 may be substituted for CMSC 256.

Minor in Artificial Intelligence (College of Engineering students only)
