VCU College of Engineering’s Marketing and Communications team has received 10 MarCom Awards for 2018. The awards program, one of the largest, most-respected international creative competitions, is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
The team’s entries in these categories received platinum awards, the highest level:
- Annual Report: Engineering for Virginia’s Workforce
- Communications Program: Hyperloop at VCU
- Feature Article: The Sprint to SpaceX: Inside VCU’s dash to beat the clock — and the odds — at the Hyperloop finals
The team also won gold awards for three other entries:
- Website: Annual Report Microsite: Engineering for Virginia’s Workforce
- Feature Article: Fascinated by technology and drawn to art, Tammi Chen brings eye for technology to VCU's Hyperloop quest
- Feature Article: After historic SpaceX debut, Hyperloop at VCU sets its sights on the future
The team’s design work also received honorable mentions in four categories:
