Electronic Resources

myVCU, eServices & Degreeworks

VCU provides a suite of online tools for students and staff designed to help them coordinate academic and non-academic resources in one place; myVCU. Located in myVCU, eServices gives students access to registration, student records, accounts, and the program completion tracker, Degreeworks. From here students are able to access their information, make an appointment with advisers, register for classes, etc. Degreeworks allows you to review your progress and see what courses are still needed for graduation.

Canvas

Many faculty use Canvas as a means to share relevant course documents, assign and grade homework, track course progress, and make course announcements. Canvas is integrated into myVCU.

Undergraduate Bulletin and Curriculum Plans

The Undergraduate Bulletin is VCU’s online catalog. It contains academic procedures and policies, as well as information regarding undergraduate programs and the requirements for completion. You can review all degrees, requirements, course descriptions, double major and minor options, and more.

Schedule Planner

Students preparing schedules for upcoming terms are able to use eServices’ Schedule Planner utility to simplify the registration process. By inputting the required courses and any preferred breaks, Schedule Planner can generate all possible schedules that accomodate all required courses. Students are encouraged to walk through the process of using Schedule Planner with their advisers.
